But who will be the fresh faces on the floor?
New Alabama head coach Anthony Grant isn't 100 percent sure yet. During Monday's Summer SEC Basketball Teleconference, the former Virginia Commonwealth head man and Florida assistant said he had no updates on the eligibility status of signee Shawn Kemp Jr., a 6-foot-8 post player.
He also added that he had no new news regarding the eligibility status of the Tide's two other signees -- 6-foot-7 forward Chris Hines and 6-foot point guard Ben Eblen.
"As far as I know, everything is progressing favorably," Grant said of the trio's eligibility situation. "Hopefully, we'll find out more in the next couple of weeks."

As far as Alabama's schedule for the 2009-2010 season, Grant said Monday it's still being finalized, and it will be released to the media when it's complete.
On the topic of the construction of a new basketball practice facility which recently gained Board of Trustees approval, Grant said "everything is in the beginning stages," but he did add that he was grateful the board saw fit to OK the project.
Alabama returns four starters and seven lettermen off a team that went 18-14 overall and 7-9 in the SEC last year. Grant took over the program in late March.
