Even Vinnie doesn't know.

Four-star recruit Trey DePriest (Springfield, Ohio/Springfield South) is scheduled to announce between Alabama and Ohio State at 5 p.m. today, and while the consensus is that DePriest will choose the Tide, no one it seems knows for sure.

And that includes fellow recruit Vinnie Sunseri, one of DePriest's closest friends who's already cast his lot with the reigning national champs. Sunseri admitted to CrimsonConfidential.com Thursday night he's already tried to get his pal from the north to spill the beans to him, but DePriest, Sunseri said, told him he'd have to wait until Friday afternoon like everyone else.

So Sunseri, like every other Bama backer, can do nothing more than wish.

"I hope he picks Alabama," said Sunseri, who, like DePriest, is an Under Armour All-American. "I'm just really nervous. But he's not just a football player to me. I see him more as a person and as my buddy."

Regardless of what happens this afternoon, Sunseri said he hopes to remain friends with DePriest, who's ranked No. 33 on the ESPNU 150, No. 2 among outside linebackers.
