Everyone knows Alabama's headline commitment of its 2010 signing class -- Under Armour All-American Phillip Sims (Chesapeake, Va./Oscar Smith) -- is an elite quarterback.

Now he's receiving some elite training to boot.

Sims is currently in Maui participating in the Steve Clarkson Super Seven quarterback academy. And yes, that's a super seven selected from across America, which obviously lends more proof to what a prized pick-up he is for the Crimson Tide.

The other quarterbacks in attendance include West Virginia commit Barry Brunetti (Memphis, Tenn./University), uncommitted Chase Rettig (San Clemente, Calif.), Cal commit Austin Hinder (Steamboat Springs, Colo.), Washington commit Nick Montana (Westlake Village, Calif./Oaks Christian), uncommitted Andrew Manley (Oahu, Hawaii/Leilehua) and Oklahoma commit Blake Bell (Wichita, Kan./Bishop Carroll).

In addition to Steve Clarkson's staff, the standout prep passers are also receiving instruction from Hall of Fame quarterbacks Joe Montana and Warren Moon and Heisman Trophy winner Matt Leinart.
