History was made Saturday night in New York.

The Alabama Crimson Tide, the storied football program known for national championships, bowl victories and Bear Bryant, now has a Heisman Trophy winner.

Mark Ingram, who's been delivering all season long for Alabama, delivered the stiff arm trophy to Tuscaloosa. It was the closest Heisman vote ever with Stanford's Toby Gerhart finishing a close second.
