Notebook: Trio of walk-ons earn scholarships

	Aug 19, 2008 Creg Stephenson, Senior Writer Leigh Tiffin, P.J. Fitzgerald and Tyrone King Jr. are no longer walk-ons — they joined the ranks of scholarship players this week. Alabama coach Nick Saban made the announcement on Tuesday afternoon, a day after telling all three players the news. He said all three had earned it through their play on the field and in practice.
