SEC Network set to launch later today

sec-helmetThe SEC Network makes it nationwide debut at 5PM Central Time (6PM EST), today.  The new channel which has been hyped for the past year will feature news, information, games, commentary – you name it, covering everything from all 14 SEC campuses.

The networks studio, located in Charlotte, N.C., will premier with a three-hour airing of the flagship show “SEC Now”.  Hosts Dari Nowkhah and Maria Taylor will be joined by 21 reporters, and analysts all reporting live from the 14 SEC campuses.  Greg McElroy, Brent Musburger, Booger McFarland and Paul Finebaum will also join the set to discuss the upcoming season and what to expect during the networks inaugural year.

Joe Namath, Archie, Peyton, and Eli Manning, and Shaquille O’Neal are among the 31 voices which will help to kick-off the network speaking to the tradition, pageantry and storied history of the SEC.

• AT&T U-Verse: Channel 607 and 1607 in high-definition w/overflow games on 608-610 SD or 1608-1610 HD

• DirecTV: Channel 611

• Bright House Network: Channel 95, 410 and 1410 HD, with overflow games on 492/1492

• DISH Network: Channel 404 with the Hopper digital set-top box or on channels 408, 596 and 597 depending on user equipment.

• Comcast Xfinity: Channel 740 and 1738 in high-definition.

• Cox Cable: Channel 77 and 1077 in high-definition.

• Charter Communications - Depending on your area (Expanded Basic and Charter Select): Channels 29/30/35/48 and 309/318 in standard definition, and channel 811 in high-definition.

• Time Warner Cable: Channels 516, 517, or 518 in standard definition, and channels 79, 80, or 417 80 in high-definition.

DirecTV customers will need the Choice package, while DISH subscribers will need the America’s Top 120 Plus, America’s Top 200 or America’s Top 250 package. Pricing is available at directv.com and dish.com.
