Alabama-Florida Men’s Basketball Game Will Air On ESPN
On Saturday, March 2, number 1 and 2 in the SEC will match up and it will be broadcast on ESPN at Noon ET (11 CT). The Southeastern Conference and ESPN officials announced on Thursday that the game between the Crimson Tide and the Gators will be televised on ESPN.
The Florida Gators are standing on top of the SEC with a 21-4 overall and 11-2 in the SEC, but only by one game as Alabama is right on their heels at 18-8 and 10-3 in the SEC. This will be the only time the two schools will square off during the regular season.
Alabama is coming off two needed wins at home against South Carolina (68-58) and Mississippi State (64-56) and now they head to Baton Rouge on Saturday, Feb. 23 to face LSU. That game is scheduled to tip at 12:30 p.m. CT and will be televised by SEC Network. The Tide then hosts in-state rival Auburn on Tuesday, Feb. 26 (@6:00) where they will try to have a better showing than they did in Auburn a couple of weeks ago.
Meanwhile Florida is set to take on Arkansas at home after coming off of a loss to to Missouri on the road (60-63). The Gators travel to Knoxville for a late night ESPN game against Tennessee on Tuesday, Feb. 26 before heading back home to take on the Tide.
