Second of Three BCS Practice in Miami

The Alabama football team was back on the practice field at Barry University campus for its second practice while in Miami.  The Crimson Tide were in shorts, helmets and shoulder pads for the 2 hours of practice as they continue preparations for top-ranked Notre Dame.

“It has been great for us to get out in this weather,” senior tight end Michael Williams said. “Right now it is all about learning to adapt to this environment. Coach Saban is pushing us really hard and we are pushing ourselves so we have one more practice to get ready for the game.”

The Bama “D” looked good as they went through their drills.  Everyone seemed to be focused on the task at hand and ready to get to Monday.  Alabama got its day started with another press conference, this time it was the defense that was put in front of the cameras.  Defensive coordinator Kirby Smart and defensive lineman Damion Square, defensive backs Robert Lester and Dee Milliner, and linebackers Nico Johnson and C.J. Mosley were all in attendance.

Barret Jones was back with the line and looked healthy as was the rest of the “O” Line.

Kenny Bell was still wearing a non-contact jersey but he seems to be trying to make a statement to the coaches that he is ready for Monday.
