Dee Hart and DeAndrew White Out
Dee Hart and DeAndrew White
Alabama’s head coach Nick Saban announced Monday that running back Dee Hart and wide receiver DeAndrew White are out for the season due to knee injuries. So, what does this mean for the No. 1 team?
The loss of Hart and White is a blow to a certain extent. Freshman RB TJ Yeldon has already proved impressive numbers this season at the RB position with Hart as his reserve. An ACL tear during 7-on-7 drills forced Hart to redshirt last year so while Alabama will be ok running back wise, this is a big let down for the athlete’s future.
DeAndrew White’s absence means Kevin Norwood will be seeing a lot more of the ball and gives another true freshman, Amari Cooper, who preformed exceedingly well this weekend against Ole Miss, a chance shine.
With AJ McCarron having a tendency to share the love, throwing to a good number of the players on the receiving side and, Nick Saban giving many of the young players time on the field during the Tide’s last few games, losing Dee Hart and DeAndrew White shouldn’t hurt the Tide in the weeks to come.
